The VDR-D50 records directly onto DVD discs. It features Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S., an optical image stabilizer that's about eight times more effective than previous systems. Detecting and correcting hand-shake around 4,000 times per second, this high-performance system suppresses even tiny amounts of blurring caused by hand-shake. The VDR-D50 also boasts a powerful 42x optical zoom lens, yet is still conveniently compact and lightweight.
