This model also includes Panasonic's new Panacrunch Pan. The pan absorbs microwave energy which is then conducted through the pan to crisp the base of the food. Unique to Panasonic, this pan will brown and crisp foods such as pizzas, quiches and pies, avoiding the soft and soggy bases often associated with placing food items on a solid tray. The pan comes complete with detachable handle.
